I always thought the aim of life was to be perfectly whole, no scars, no damage. Now I know I couldn't have been more wrong. The point of living is to love wholeheartedly and to live passionately, and when we do this we get broken, we get grazes, and we most certainly get bruised. And this is the cost of authentic living, but the rewards is a life worth living.
